This wikipage is referring to the guild called <The Emerald Dream> in the Nordanaar server. We would like to share our short Lore here with the great public.

The Saga of the Emerald Dream guild

The beginnings

Once upon a time in a dry day in the Barrens an unfamiliar group formed by chance. Some High elf expedition searched for some undiscovered plants in the Oases. Unfortunately it did not went well, because a Tauren-Orc couple stranded in their way. They picked a fight but it did not lasted for too long since the legs of both parties were rooted.. No way to the front and to the back. The fight was cancelled by a third party. A Night elf and a Tauren druid appeared and made an offer to the parties. They needed assistance in a hidden cave deep under the oases, and according to their information they needed some support. Rooted to the ground, but for a nice sum they agreed to help the druids.

The Druid

A long lost druid master needed to be found. Long ago, Naralex journeyed to the cavern with the honorable goal of entering the Emerald Dream and regrowing the Barrens into a lush forest. His focus waned and his thoughts became tainted by serpentine visions. Now, reptilian beasts seep from his dreams to the land. The group needed to wake up Naralex from the Nightmare or he will be forever lost and a great evil will be unleashed. The newly formed group fight themselves through the corrupted servants, and battled the Fanglords successfully. They managed to wake up Naralex finally and he needed to be escorted outside of the caves.

Meeting with the Circle

The group followed the Druids through the Barrens, Ashenvale and Felwood until Moonglade where they caused a big surprise. Everyone celebrated the arrival of Naralex in Moonglade. His arrival was miraculous. A big feast was hold and everyone celebrated the new heroes and the return one important member of the Cenarion Circle.

Forming an expedition force

A week after the arrival the druids started a meeting. The council learned the findings of Naralex, and they decided to form an expedition force from different fighters and scientists. To establish the group one of the savior of Naralex was asked. A druid called Valurian started to form around him a group. He started with the fellow adventurers who were helping him to free Naralex. They became the first ambassadors of this cause. Later on he traveled around Kalimdor and picked the best of the best, his ambassadors went even further and started to recruit in the Easter Kingdoms. From year to year more and more people joined the group from far away lands. Their goal was the restoration of the Emerald, Dream, and they as an expedition force they picked up this name. The members of the group needed to take part of a druid ceremony where they get the blessing of the wilds. In this way they accepted that they are serving the Cenarion Circle's cause a higher purpose what is above the rivalisation of the factions.

Present cause

They are active in Kalimdor, but mostly in the region of Hyjal, they are doing exploration tasks in the Emerald Sanctum. To honor their activity the Cenarion Circle is holding for them a gathering place in the forests of Ashenvale. It is hidden before the eyes of who are not members of this expedition force. This is the place from where Valurian and his lieutenants are coordinating the fight which will turn the Emerald Nightmare to the Emerald Dream.

Summary

Couple years after the Third War , a crack commando unit was sent to a cave by a druids for some money what they didn't refuse. These men promptly escaped with Naralex from a maximum security Cavern to the Moonglade underground. Today, still wanted by the evil of Azeroth, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire... <The Emerald Dream>.
