TourGuide Professions

TourGuide Professions is a profession leveling guide. It is designed to help players efficiently level their in-game professions—such as Tailoring, Leatherworking, Engineering, Enchanting, Cooking, and Blacksmithing—by providing step-by-step instructions.

Installation

GitAddonsManager

The easiest way to keep TourGuide Professions up to date is by using GitAddonsManager.

1. Add the Repository: Add the following URL to GitAddonsManager: https://github.com/cralor/TourGuide_Professions.git
2. Select the Branch: Ensure that the master branch is selected.
3. Update: Using GitAddonsManager, you can check for and install updates for all your AddOns with a single click.

Manual Installation

If you prefer manual installation, follow these steps:

1. Go to the main page of the repository.
2. Click the <> Code dropdown and download the repository as a .zip.
3. Unpack the .zip and rename the folder to TourGuide_Professions, removing the -master suffix.
4. Move the folder into your Interface/AddOns directory and restart the game.

Important: This addon requires TourGuide to work.

Usage

• The guide list window can be toggled by right-clicking on the TourGuide then click the Guides button.
• Follow the instructions provided in each step for efficient leveling.
• The guide includes quest turn-ins, vendor purchases, and crafting recipes.

Key Steps:

• 1-50: Linen Cloth, Linen Bags, Reinforced Linen Cape
• 75-105: Woolen Cloth, Woolen Shirts, Shoulders
• 125-160: Silk Cloth, Silk Hood, Headband, White Shirt
• 185-200: Mageweave Cloth, Silk Vest, Pantaloons
• 215-250: Mageweave, Black Mageweave Leggings, Gloves, Headband/Shoulders
• 260-300: Runecloth, Runecloth Belt, Runecloth Gloves

Leatherworking 1-300

275x Light Leather, Medium Heavy Leather, Heavy Leather, Rugged Leather, Thick Leather, Turtle Scale, Wildvine, Leather Belts, Boots, Bracers

Key Steps:

• 1-150: Light Leather, Cured Leather, Embossed Leather, Dark Leather, Heavy Leather, Leather Belts, Shoulders, Legs
• 150-250: Thick Leather, Rugged Leather, Nightscape Headband/Tunic, Pants
• 250-300: Wicked Leather, Leather Headband, Bracers, Boots

Engineering 1-300

Materials Needed (approximate):

90x Rough Stone, Copper, Silver, Bronze, Iron, Steel, Mithril, Thorium, Dense Stone, Worn Dragonscale, Scorpid Scale

Key Items & Recipes:

• Basic: Blasting Powder, Copper Tubes, Bronze Tubes, Small/Bombs, Mithril Tubes, Triggers, Casings, Gyro-Shots, Thorium Shells
• Advanced: Core of Earth, Heart of Fire, Breath of Wind, Thorium Bars, Thorium Plans (visit Gadgetzan for plans)

Enchanting 1-300

Materials Needed (approximate):

150x Strange Dust, 90x Soul Dust, 170x Vision Dust, 300x Dream Dust, Illusion Dust, Various Rods, Greater Eternal, Pearls, Gems

Key Steps:

• 1-75: Runed Copper Rod, Minor Enchantments
• 75-150: Enchant Bracers, Shields, Circlets
• 150-250: Greater Enchantments, Cloaks, Gloves, Chests
• 250-300: Higher-level enchants, buy Lesser Mana Oil from vendors in Silithus, etc.

Cooking 1-300

Materials Needed (approximate):

Various meats, spices, herbs, and special ingredients from different zones.

For Horde:

• 1-40: Spice Bread, Bear Meat, Smoked Bear Meat
• 90-125: Dig Rats, Dig Rat Stew, Raptor Flesh, Roast Raptor
• 200-250: Spider Meat, Spider Sausage, Zesty Clam Meat, Tender Wolf Steaks, Monster Omelet
• 285-300: Sandworm Meat, Smoked Desert Dumplings (kill Dredge Crushers/Strikers in Silithus)

For Alliance:

• 1-40: Spice Bread, Bear Meat, Smoked Bear Meat
• 75-85: Crawler Meat, Crab Cake
• 85-130: Seasoned Wolf Kabobs, Stormwind Herbs
• 130-175: Raptor Eggs, Curiously Tasty Omelet, Roast Raptor
• 200-250: Spider Meat, Spider Sausage, Zesty Clam Meat, Tender Wolf Steaks
• 285-300: Sandworm Meat, Smoked Desert Dumplings

Blacksmithing 1-300

Materials Needed (approximate):

90x Rough Stone, Copper, Bronze, Iron, Steel, Mithril, Thorium, Dense Stone, Cores of Earth, Mageweave, Rugged Leather

Key Items & Recipes:

• Basic: Sharpening Stones, Grinding Stones, Copper & Bronze Gear
• Advanced: Iron & Steel Plate, Mithril Coif, Earthforged & Emberforged gear, Thorium plans (visit Gadgetzan for Imperial Plate plans)

Usage Tips:

• Follow each step for efficient farming and crafting.
• Purchase recipes from vendors when available.
• Kill specific mobs to gather materials.
