Draenethyst

Draenethyst are gems originally native to Draenor that hold great cultural importance to the draenei due to their otherworldly power.<ref name="The Mirebeast">THE MIREBEAST — Everlook Broadcasting Co. The Shard of Aka'Sha was a particularly powerful crystal of draenethyst that was stolen from the Harborage by the draenei Den'borr. When confronted by his fellow tribesmen, he refused to come to his senses. When his brethren attemempted to reclaim it from him, he was attacked by an enraged bog beast, and in the process they were fused into one being by the Shard of Aka'Sha acting of its own volition - the two warping into a creature that the draenei of Harborage named the Mirebeast. The Shard of Aka'Sha was later retrieved when Den'borr and the bog beast were separated once more when they fought an adventuring party seeking a cure for their companion's otherworldly sickness.<ref name="The Mirebeast" />
