Kurdran Wildhammer, Aerie Peak Dwarf of Northeron, was the proud rider of the gryphon Sky'ree and the commander of the Alliance Expedition's Gryphon Rider Division. He gained an impressive reputation as the master of the skies, with nine dragons on his death toll during the Second War. After the war, Kurdran continued to work for the Alliance, acting as a scout searching out the Bleeding Hollow clan in Azeroth.

Upon hearing that Deathwing had breached the Dark Portal into Draenor, Kurdran was only too eager to serve as scout and warrior for the Alliance Expedition to Draenor and commanded the Gryphon Rider Division. Though Kurdran was captured during the raid on Auchindoun, he was rescued by the Alliance and met his vengeance upon those who imprisoned him.

Though things soon turned for the worse when the world of Draenor began to die, and the Azerothien forces were forced to flee into Ner'zhul’s unholy rifts. Kurdran has since been immortalized in stone, along with the other leaders from the expeditionary force, in the Valley of Heroes in Stormwind.
