Dalaran, officially the Magocracy of Dalaran,<ref>Of Blood and Honor</ref> is one of the seven human nations in the Eastern Kingdoms, located near the southern coast of Lordamere Lake in Lordaeron. It is a small, magocratic nation originally founded as a city-state by magi of the Empire of Arathor. It is ruled by the Kirin Tor, an elite cadre of the most powerful wizards in the known world, under the leadership of the Council of Dalaran.
