Emerald Sanctum is an instance raid located in Hyjal. A fog of corruption has descended upon the Emerald Dream, twisting the morals and intentions of even the noblest and purest. The corrupted Wakener is preparing to send a premature call of awakening; if not stopped, his kin will arise and go on a frenzied rampage across Azeroth.

Attunement

In order enter the instance portal of the Emerald Sanctum, the player needs to have the Gemstone of Ysera, which can be acquired through the quest chain "Into the Dream":

• Into the Dream I
  • Starts and ends at Ralathius in Nordanaar, Hyjal
  • Simply listen to Ralathius' story
• Into the Dream II
  • Starts and ends at Ralathius in Nordanaar, Hyjal
  • Collect 3 Nightmare Effigies from the Satyrs in Hyjal
• Into the Dream III
  • Starts at Ralathius in Nordanaar, Hyjal
  • Ends at Itharius in the Swamp of Sorrows
  • Collect the following:
    • An Overloaded Arcane Prism (from an Arcane Torrent in Dire Maul West)
    • A Slumberer's Shard (from Weaver in Sunken Temple)
    • A Binding Fragment (from an elite Cliff Breaker giant in Azshara)
    • An Arcanite Rod (made by blacksmiths or purchasable for 150 gold from Vorthos Everbreeze in Nordanaar)
• Into the Dream IV
  • Starts at Itharius in the Swamp of Sorrows
  • Ends at Ralathius in Nordanaar, Hyjal
  • Simply travel back to Ralathius
• Into the Dream V
  • Starts and ends at Ralathius in Nordanaar, Hyjal
  • Protect Ralathius during the short event against 4 Nightmare Apparitions (non-elite)
• Into the Dream VI
  • Starts and ends at Ralathius in Nordanaar, Hyjal
  • Loot the Charge of Ysera from the drake Larannikus (level 61 elite, CC-immune) in Hyjal
