The Regency Council is the current governing body of Alah'Thalas and the Silvermoon Remnant, the surviving High Elves of Quel'Thalas. The council was established after the expansion of the city, the resettlement of the Thalassian Highlands and after Vereesa Windrunner was removed from her position as Speaker of the Silvermoon Remnant due to the influence of surviving nobles, primarily those of House Sunsworn, whose patriarch Astalor Sunsworn has ambitions of being crowned king.
It is based out of the Regency Spire in Alah'Thalas, and is comprised of Vereesa Windrunner, Lor'themar Theron, Grand Magister Rommath, Astalor Sunsworn, Farenia Roseheart and Miralin Wavesinger.
