Astalor Sunsworn is the patriarch of House Sunsworn and a current member of the Regency Council of Alah'Thalas. One of the surviving nobles of Quel'Thalas, Sunsworn is amongst those most opposed to Vereesa Windrunner, having aspirations to ascend to the throne himself and establish his own dynasty to replace House Sunstrider as rulers of the Quel'dorei.

Sunsworn was the one who convinced the Regency Council to open up Sunstrider Court, a grand coliseum that was built within Alah'Thlas, to mercenaries, champions, and wanderers from all corners of Azeroth, each hoping to prove their strength, earn gold, or fight for something greater.<ref>Patch 1.18.0#NEW ARENA — SUNSTRIDER COURT</ref>
