The Dwarves of Gelnor

The Dwarves of Gelnor is a book that can be found in Gilneas.
Following the disastrous War of the Three Hammers, the hill dwarven clans sworn to the Wildhammer deserted their old homes of Grim Batol, Kalvanost and Dun Kithas, and wandered the northern realms in search of new lands to call their own.
Though most Wildhammers settled in what would soon become Aerie Peak, the dwarves of Kalvanost and Dun Kithas continued their search, parting from their brethren and often straying into human territories.
There, the mighty Sky King of Kalvanost, Morgryn, made war upon the humans of Lordaeron and Alterac, reaping their wealth to restore his own.
The fairer Sky King of Dun Kithas, Redoran, flew instead from thence far into the west, until he came to the Gilnean city of Gelnor.
Redoran gifted many trinkets of his people to the Gilneans, which they treasured, awed by the artisanship of dwarven-craft.
Richest of Redoran's gifts was a bejeweled mithril crown he gifted to the ruling Greymane Queen, Elaena the Good. So charmed was Elaena that throughout her reign she never again unwearied her head.
When Redoran and his people made ready to depart, they were halted by Queen Elaena who, for their generosity to the people of Gilneas, gifted them a place in Gelnor and to Redoran a seat at her court. The dwarves were glad to accept and Redoran ever shared Elaena's trust and council.
After over two centuries, dwarves and humans in Gelnor have adopted many of each other's customs.
The dwarves have taken to the worship of the Light, albeit in hewn caverns of carven stone rather than churches, and the humans became excellent wood-carvers and gryphon riders, if more inclined to long lances rather than thunderhammers.
It is said that to this day, dwarves and humans live there in Gelnor as one Gilnean kin, their fates entwined until the breaking of the world.
