UI Scaling
If you're having issues with the frame borders/edges being un-uniformly sized or appearing clipped by the healthbar make sure to have a proper UI scale set.
Set UI scale:
/console UIScale <value>
Recommended Formula:
UIScale = 768 / verticalResolution
Examples for common resolutions:
Resolution | Command | Explanation |
---|---|---|
1280x1024 | /console UIScale 0.75
|
Matches a 1024 pixel height (768/1024 ≈ 0.75). |
1600x900 | /console UIScale 0.853
|
For 900 height (768/900 ≈ 0.853). |
1920x1080 | /console UIScale 0.7111 | Full HD 1080p resolution |
1920x1200 | /console UIScale 0.64
|
Minimum UI scale (for 1200 height) to avoid glitches. |
2560x1440 | /console UIScale 0.533
|
For 1440 height (768/1440). |
3840x2160 | /console UIScale 0.355
|
For 2160 height (4K resolution). |
For resolutions above 1920x1200 you may need to manually set the scale using:
/run UIParent:SetScale(0.533)
Note that this setting isn't saved across reloads, so you'd need an addon or macro to set it each time.
