Father Lycan is a worgen pricolich and bloodmage who ventured to the world of Azeroth from the worgen homeworld of Vorgendor. After crawling over the Greymane Wall into Gilneas from the Silverpine Forest, he introduced Celia and Mortimer Harlow to the blood magics that they used to corrupt the nobility and leadership of the human nation.<ref>Celia's Journal</ref>

As part of a bid to purify the Scythe of Elune, Arch Druid Dreamwind directs adventurers to kill the pricoliches on Azeroth so that their influence in the world wanes. In the Circle of Power of Mount Hyjal, the Arch Druid directs adventurers to summon Father Lycan by speaking his name with an arcane orb infused with the essence of primal magic in order to ensnare him and strip away his dark powers, rendering him vulnerable.

Abilities

Flame of Vorgendor — Calls down a pillar of fire, burning all enemies within the area for 3600 Fire damage and an additional 18000 Fire damage over 15 seconds.
Doombolt — Sends a shadowy bolt at the enemy, causing 25000 Shadow damage.
Herald's Transmutation — Transforms an enemy into a Shadowfang Glutton, enslaving it to the caster's will for 15 seconds.
