Sanv Tas'dal is a draenei riftwalker and the sixth boss of Tower of Karazhan. The chieftain of the Tribe of Sanv, he ordered his people to flee from the dying world of Draenor after the destruction wrought by the orcish Horde.

However, while part of his tribe escaped to the world of Azeroth led by Akh Z'ador and Sanv K'la, Sanv Tas'dal did not follow. He and the remainder of his tribe became servants of the Burning Legion, plying their riftwalking abilities to the demons' cause. When Akh Z'ador attempted to communicate with his remaining tribe, he discovered their change in allegiance; though he in turn was located within the fabric of the Twisting Nether by Sanv Tas'dal, who interrupted his focus, throwing him through the Nether back to Azeroth, in Azshara.<ref name="Learn Of My Past" />

After discovering the location of his tribesmen, Sanv Tas'dal sent a projection of himself to the Harborage to reunite his people and bring them into the fold under the Legion by force if necessary.
